Having conned Mrs and Mrs Edgar into going into temporary care the council then secretly obtained Receivership Orders so that they could steal their property and assets however when this was discovered by David Edgar junior he moved all their liquid assets out of out their reach, meanwhile as his parents were being systematically abused, neglected and intimidated by Walsall Social Services a number of formal complaints were made against the council however as usual all were disregarded and covered-up by them and their chums.
Although arrangements had been made to move Mr. and Mrs Edgar out of the Walsall area in order to escape the evil clutches of Walsall Social Services they then abducted David Edgar senior and forced him into one of their sub standard care homes, fortunately Mrs Ann Edgar was able to escape however the council then stole her state pension and refused to provide her with her personal allowance (£18 a week), this then led to formal complaints of theft being made to West Midlands police which eventually forced the council to provide back-dated payments to Mrs Edgar.
Having failed to steal Mr. and Mrs Edgar's liquid assets the council then retaliated by attempting to steal the family home and although they had their own legal department they chose to squander public funds on city lawyers costing over £200 per hour, unfortunately they overlooked that fact that David Edgar Junior had many years of legal knowledge and experience in both the civil and criminal courts therefore they then made the mistake of taking him on in the civil courts whereby they entered into a prolonged legal battle which lasted over fifteen months and only ended when they were humiliated into defeat, around the same time the council also came unstuck in Walsall Magistrates Court when he stuffed them for costs in yet another failed legal battle regarding an alleged council tax liability, they were also publicly humiliated when a complaint of maladministration was upheld and they were forced to pay compensation.
Although David Edgar hammered the council into the ground Walsall County Court refused to grant his legitimate costs however no mention was made of the public funds which were squandered in achieving nothing therefore pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 David Edgar then served notice on the council and requested site of the lawyer's invoices who had represented the council.
Following much back peddling and stalling the council were finally forced to disclose the 16 invoices which totaled over £48,000 and although formal complaints of squandering public funds were made to the Audit Commissioner they chose not to investigate the obvious abuse of public funds.
